Laser, light, rollers and vacuum. That’s the technology behind SmoothShapes Photomology. Check out this video from the Today Show and the before and after pics. The after pic is amazing and that was only after 1 month. I want that result! Unfortunately, it’ll cost me $2000 and I don’t want to spend that much money on getting rid of my cellulite. Also, I’m thinking once you stop going for treatments, wouldn’t the cellulite come back?

In any case, what the doctor said on the Today Show was the following:
- The laser helps to dissolve the fat.
- The light makes the skin more permeable so the laser gets in better.
- The vacuum and rollers move the released fat towards the lymphatic system.
Notice how the doctor is going in the up direction in the same way that one would perform lymphatic massage or dry brushing.

I wonder how much it would be to buy an entire machine. Probably more than $2000.
I’m wondering how to duplicate this at home. I could get a vacuum massager and a roller massager. That would be two separate things to do on top of the dry brushing that I’m doing. But I’m struggling with the laser and light. I guess I only need something to break up the fat. Wouldn’t a good massage break up the fat?
Hmmm…I googled ‘breaking up cellulite’ and found a device that emits a radio frequency. Looks like another expensive spa treatment. One of the search results returned ‘how to do a cellulite massage’. Here’s the link:

I would love to see a video of this so I could try it on myself. Maybe I could find something on You Tube.
Ok, I found something…

So, there’s the cellulite massage technique. Looks like it might be difficult to do by yourself, hence, why a tool might be necessary.
I’ll save the cellulite self-massaging tools for another post.
I’m going on an overnight to NYC, so I won’t be posting tomorrow, but I’ll do my mid-week check-in on Wednesday or Thursday.
If you’ve had any success with any type of massage, at home or spa, please post a comment. I would love to hear about it!
Thanks for reading!
